V7768是一种VME单板计算机,借助于带有高达2GB的DDR2 SDRAM的Intel Core 2 Duo处理器,可提供高达2.16 GHz的处理速度。该板集成了英特尔945GME Express芯片组,并能提供非常丰富的I/O集合,使得它能够非常灵活地添加到我们的种类繁多的英特尔架构VME SBC中。I/O选项包括双千兆以太网、两个SATA接口、四个USB 2.0端口、键盘/鼠标/面板上的SVGA以及支持PCI-X的PMC站点。

V7768也提供Celeron M处理器选项,可允许在超出工作温度上限20多摄氏度的情况下工作。V7768采用板对板连接器连接源于GE智能平台的PMC237CM1/V PMC扩展板,可提供更多的可由用户定义的I/O功能,它为用户提供了除V7768上的PCI-X PMC站点之外的三个额外的PMC扩展站点。
