AFC系统的全称是Automatic Fare Collection System，是一种由计算机集中控制的自动售票（包括半自动售票）、自动检票以及自动收费和统计的封闭式自动化网络系统。

在此控制管理平台中，使用GE智能平台的PACSystems系统应采用为控制站的核心，GE智能平台iFIX软件作为中央控制监控站信息平台，考虑系统的稳定可靠性,设备监控系统采用PLC双机热备硬件冗余模式。

本文基于GE智能平台的Proficy 软件产品，提出适合烟草行业生产模式的独特的“三三”MES解决方案框架，并将其应用到常德卷烟厂芙蓉王制丝专线项目中，从运行效果看，基于上述思想的MES系统真正实现了烟草行业所期望的“管控一体化”，搭建起常德烟厂“数字烟草”平台。
