Our AdvancedTCA Telecom Computing Architecture (AdvancedTCA or ATCA) single board computers incorporate the latest trends in high speed interconnect technologies, next generation processors and improved reliability, manageability and serviceability. ATCA SBCs, deployed with other ATCA blades (such as our packet processing ATCA blades), provide control-plane and hi-level data-plane support for communications applications.

Our Processor AdvancedMCs bring feature-rich processor capabilities to a carrier board, and can be added to any host card or MicroTCA™ system with the appropriate mechanical and electrical connections

Maximizing memory Resources on Xeon 5500-based ATCA blades

This paper provides a review of the Intel® 55xx series Nehalem Xeon® processor basic memory subsystem architecture, a discussion of design and application tradeoffs that need to be managed when defining the memory subsystem, and an overview of the main memory resources provided on the GE Intelligent Platforms A10200 AdvancedTCA® Nehalem-based single board computer (SBC). It is assumed that the reader is generally familiar with cache and MMU operation, as well as the NUMA (non-uniform memory architecture) used by Intel and others to optimize physical memory resource allocation for simultaneous data accesses on multiple memory channels

A10200

The A10200 ATCA single board computer, featuring dual Intel Xeon 5600/5500 Series quad- or six-core processors and up to 64 Gbytes of DDR3 SDRAM memory, delivers an optimum combination of performance and power dissipation. A complement to GE Intelligent Platforms’s extensive and growing family of AdvancedTCA products, including packet processing blades, the A10200 is designed for demanding telecommunications networks where it will enable significantly faster network performance than is currently possible. 

Telum ASLP11

The Telum™ ASLP11 is a single width, full or mid size AMC processor board with an integrated Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor plus 3100 integrated controller. The assembly is fully compliant to the PICMG AMC.0, R2.0, AMC.1, R2.0 (Type 8 PCI Express), AMC.2 (Type E2 Gigabit Ethernet) and AMC.3 (Serial ATA) specifications. The Telum™ ASLP11 hosts one Core 2 Duo processor with a 1.5 GHz or higher core clock.

Telum ASLE11

The Telum™ ASLE11 is a single width, full or mid size AMC processor board with an integrated Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor plus 3100 integrated controller. The assembly is fully compliant to the PICMG AMC.0, R2.0, AMC.1, R2.0 (Type 8 PCI Express), AMC.2 (Type E2 Gigabit Ethernet) and AMC.3 (Serial ATA) specifications. The Telum™ ASLE11 hosts one Core 2 Duo processor with a 1.5 GHz or higher core clock. The ASLE11 supports root complex (Master) functionality only when the PCI Express bridge is de-populated. The assembly is ready to accept higher performance Core 2 Duo processor variants when introduced by Intel.
