Proficy Cause+ enables production/manufacturing engineers and process specialists to generate real-time causes for production process deviations. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) provide operators with in-depth process knowledge and specific actionable message guidance for correction.

Proficy Cause+ contains an offline component, which performs data collection, preparation, visualization, lag estimation, and correlation analysis, as well as data selection for scenario definition and simulation for each KPI. The real-time component contains the specific interfacing view to Proficy HMI/SCADA, allowing for an “Intelligent HMI/SCADA” that empowers operators to improve quality and process yields.
