The AdvancedMC™ board was originally conceived as a mezzanine for AdvancedTCA® carriers. However, MicroTCA™ and other form factors also use these modules. As a result, AdvancedMCs have generated unexpected interest levels and are finding uses that were perhaps not originally conceived of. The entire AdvancedMC™ ecosystem is evolving quickly, and new products and concepts are being developed at an incredible rate. As a result, GE Embedded Systems has decided to produce a periodic newsletter to help our customers and colleagues to stay informed about AdvancedMCs.
