High speed networking is a critical to most embedded applications. We offer a strong group of Ethernet switches to meet a wide range of customer networking requirements. Our comprehensive portfolio features Fully Managed Layer-2/3 switches with IPv6 switching/routing, Managed Layer-2 switches, and unmanaged switches to meet the simplest of requirements. The majority of our Fully Managed switches incorporate OpenWare, our inhouse developed software, to provide comprehensive switch configuration and management. Switches are available in a variety of form factors.
Reflective Memory networks are designed to provide the highly deterministic, tightly timed performance necessary for a variety of distributed simulation and industrial control applications. They have benefited from advances in general-purpose data networks, but they remain an entirely independent technology, driven by different requirements and catering to applications where determinism, implementation simplicity, integration of a number of dissimilar hardware platforms running different operating systems, and a lack of software overhead are key factors.
Our wide range of Gigabit Ethernet Network Interface Cards provide an easy way to add additional network connectivity to any customer system. These products come in PMC and PCI edge form factors and are supported by an extensive list of drivers for various operating systems: Solaris, VxWorks, Windows, Linux and others.
