VIPC616, a 4-slot 6U VME IndustryPack carrier, supports I/O, ID, memory, and interrupt functions. The 6U carrier provides mechanical mounting and the electrical interface from the VME backplane to 4 single-wide or 2 double-wide IndustryPacks. 50-pin ribbon cables connect the IndustryPack I/O at the front panel.
