- Dynamic Time Handling - CIMPLICITY 8.0 features a server and client side dynamic time handling capability which enables changing time zones “on the fly”.
- Digital Graphical Replay 2.0 - CIMPLICITY 8.0 introduces Digital Graphical Replay (DGR) 2.0. DGR 2.0 provides the ability to replay trend data as well all other data in your system -- a powerful feature for more intelligent decisionmaking and accelerated issue resolution.
- Enhanced Security Protection - CIMPLICITY 8.0 only requires a Microsoft Windows® Vista®/Server 2008 standard user account to develop and run your SCADA application. Leave the User Account Protection (UAP) security active and reduce your systems risk.
- Proficy Historian Integration - Forming a powerful combination with GE Intelligent Platforms’s Proficy Historian and now includes a Historian license. (100 Tags Included).
- Operating Systems Support - CIMPLICITY 8.0 Now supports Microsoft® Vista SP1 and Windows® Server 2008 as well as existing support for Windows XP and Windows Server 2000
