The VMEbus International Trade Association (VITA) was accredited as an ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards development organization (SDO) in June of 1993. VITA specializes in standards development for the VMEbus industry. GE Intelligent Platforms is a member of VITA.
PICMG
The PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group) is a consortium of over 450 companies who collaboratively develop specifications that adapt PCI technology for use in industrial and telecommunications computing applications.
