Proficy Workflow 2.0 - Highlights
Default System Startup Display
Default computer configurations allow you to customize, from a single location, the way Proficy Workflow opens and appears on either all computers in your system or on a subset of computers.
Active Directory Groups and Universal Groups
Microsoft Active Directory Universal Groups are used in Proficy Workflow to define security groups and keysets for Windows users, and to manage Windows users across your enterprise.
You can create the required Active Directory Universal Groups, and then associate them with Proficy groups.
Windows User Support and Automatic Login for Windows Users
You can use Windows user accounts to access Proficy Workflow. You can also configure Windows user accounts for automatic login on either a global basis or for individual computers.
Support for Very Large Equipment, Material, Personnel, and Production Models
The number of resources you can create for the equipment, material, personnel, and production models has been greatly increased, improving your ability to create very large systems.
Security Certificate Configuration
Proficy Workflow allows you to select your server security certificate configuration from multiple options.
Product Option Installation Tool
You can create your own service providers, and then install them with Proficy Workflow using the Configure Product Options utility.
Password Security Options
Proficy Workflow Administrator users have the ability to make changes to the security settings in Proficy Workflow, including configuring lockout thresholds, re-enabling locked out user accounts, configuring password complexity, and determining whether or not users can change their passwords.
Reverse Proxy for the Web Task List
For security purposes, a dedicated and locked-down Internet-facing server should be used when external Internet users use a Web Task List that is running on a secure internal network. This type of server is called a reverse proxy server.
