Systems Engineering
Our Naval Systems Engineering Group has over 200 collective man years experience in the design, integration and proving of complex weapon systems. This experience gained with some of the UK's leading defense prime contractors and systems integrators, spans over 40 years of technology and encompasses the following main areas:

Ballistic Prediction and System Interfaces
Our ballistic predictors and system interface modules are employed in a number of naval gun control systems.
The LEAP range of ballistic predictors provides the following features:
- Full ballistic prediction featuring comprehensive compensation for all parameters to provide high first round hit probability.
- Versions available for all types and caliber of gun and ammunition
- Range of interfaces available to simplify systems integration
The supporting systems interface module features include:
- Interfaces configurations for both in-service and new generation weapons
- Discrete interfaces to meet weapon safety requirements
- Range of system interfaces
The ballistic predictor and system interface modules can be supplied in a range of hardware formats to meet different systems architectures; either as separate printed circuit boards or housed in a suitable military enclosure. All GE Intelligent Platforms hardware is designed to meet the exacting standards required of operational military applications.

Services:
The Naval Systems Engineering Group offer turnkey performance assessment services for naval gunnery systems world wide. A key element of this service is the company's ability to not only conduct gunnery trials and generate fully document trials reports but to provide engineering services to assist in the resolution of performance issues in an effective and timely manner. Trials are conducted employing a range of equipments specifically designed for the gunnery assessment process; these can be supplied on a permanent basis or provided on lease.
