REACHGE Intelligent Platforms REACH ComplianceThe Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation 1907/2006, commonly referred to as "REACH", is Europe's new chemicals legislation, which is applicable in all European Union Member States and Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. REACH enables gathering information, assessing human health and environmental risks, and authorizing or restricting the sale and use of chemicals in the EU. REACH can impact producers and importers of finished goods and users of chemicals for industrial or professional activities. Requirements are being implemented in phases over several years, beginning in 2008. GE Intelligent Platforms supports the objective of this regulation, strives to improve the protection of human health and the environment, and will meet all applicable REACH requirements.
